I AM POEM!

I am a dancer at heart,

I wonder why we can't fly,

I hear every little sound,

I see stars when I fall,

I want to fly,

I am a dancer at heart,

I pretend I am a princess,

I feel like I'm on a cloud,

I touch the moon when I sleep,

I worry that people will judge,

I cry when I laugh,

I am a dancer at heart,

I uderstand how to learn,

I say what I heard,

I dream that if I jump I'll sore,

I try to dance on air,

I hope to live long,

I am a dancer at heart.

POWDER MOUNTAIN

To start out the GREAT two week break I went to Ogden with my friend Madi Kimball. It was lots of fun... first, we made a MILLION sugar cookies. Yum! Yum! Then.. the next day with went snowboarding at POWDER MOUNTAIN. Once we got up the big lift we found a trail.. It seemed like it would be fun so we went threw it and then..

"The trail starts out fun.. pretty easy. Then,

all of a sudden a huge jump comes before

you know it. Because of the jump you

now have tons of speed. You can see the

same jump but 5 feet away coming up. You

start to bend your knees to get height. When

MADI

was infront of you to begin with and she is

on the ground.. because she fell. You see her

and automatically your instincts come in and

you move. Sadly.. I moved towards a tree, not

very wise."

Now thats what happened when I went to POWDER MOUNTAIN!

Empathy..

                  This community LACKS empathy because they can't really fell in the first place. When JONAS has that strange dream and he is very CoNfUsEd.  His parents can't really heel that he is having those feelings. All they say is, "Now you will take the pills. Thanks for your dream." They don't hold his HAND and say, "Tell me how your feeling." Because they would not be able to relate anyway.
                  When Jonas first walked into the room with the giver. The giver is OBVIOUSLY sad. Jonas doesn't really know why because he cannot relate to the PAIN. But after the giver starts to show and give him pain the other days when he comes in he asks what is wrong. Then he tries to help the giver. So the the middle of the book he can start to FEEL.
